An online pub for those souls that are eager participants in the "Faith Works" Lenten Bible Study at Christ Church, Fitchburg.
The group is a 5 week love-in featuring the Epistle of James, which is found in Holy Scripture,the New Testament,toward the end.
Any similarity of name between this blog and the famous 60s\70s rock group of the same name (and favorite of the group leader) is entirely intentional!

For Further Study
Follow this link for a wonderful commentary on James. You and I may disagree with this or that, but at the very least, it will aid in further study.
We meet each Wednesday during Lent at Christ Church, Fitchburg, MA, USA. A traditional Lenten dinner of soup and bread is at 6:30p, group time (2 options, see below) begins at 7p, and a short service of prayer and Holy Communion is offered in the chapel, from 8-8:30pm.
There is a separate study on "The Prodigal Son" led by our most excellent pastor, Father Ken Wolfe, that also meets at 7-8pm.
